Assistant Construction Manager ADU Construction (Project Engineer) - San Jose, CA

Webuild (webuildstaffing.com ) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer to perform project engineering and construction management activities on Single Family, ADU housing projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area (South Bay / East Bay) marketplaces.

The ideal individual would have 3+ years of construction management / project engineering experience ensuring permitting, managing project schedules, performing quantity takeoffs, developing estimates, reviewing bids, maintaining project documents (RFQs, RFIs, subcontractor submittals, change orders, etc..), verifying field measurements, performing construction management and closeout activities as needed for an expansive portfolio of ADU housing projects that range in scope from $100 - $500,000 per ADU.

The Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer will also be tasked with assisting the Regional Director in ensuring client satisfaction; including assisting with business development, proposal formulation and client relations as need to secure new work and manage the full life cycle of development.

Requires a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Must have strong software technological abilities and desire to grow within a highly respected project team.
